Van Wart Dental

Mission Statement
Our mission at Van Wart Dental is to provide our patients with the highest quality dental care in a comfortable, relaxed and friendly environment. We strive to make a positive difference in the lives of all ages by providing individually tailored dental care to all patients. We do so through the practice of restorative procedures, smile maintenance and regular periodic check ups and cleanings. 

Vision Statement
Our vision at Van Wart Dental is to provide our patients with a dental home that will promote a lifelong relationship built on trust, confidence and exceptional patient care. We will do so by continuously adapting, growing and evolving with our community and society so we can enhance the lives of all of our patients.

Van Wart Dental

Dr. William H. Van Wart opened Van Wart Family Dentistry in 1967. Dr. Tammy, Dr. Sherry and Dr. Christina continue to practice in the same building and location. Dr. William Van Wart is proud to see his daughters (Dr. Sherry & Dr. Tammy) and granddaughter (Dr. Christina) continue to treat patients with the same compassion, quality and kindness that he did. The Van Wart family has provided quality dental care to the Houston area for over 50 years and is on its 3rd generation of Van Wart Family dentists.

Dr. Sherry VanWart-Noblett, is a native Houstonian, and have been a licensed dentist in Texas for over 30 years. She attended Texas A&M University 1981-84, and the University of Texas Dental Branch (UTDB) from 1984-88, graduating with honors. Her awards include: America's Top Dentist Award 2009, 2012, 2014, 2018, Houston's Top Dentist Award 2009 through present, Texas Academy of General Dentistry Award, Dale Andrews Award from The American College of Prosthodontist, and the Dentsply Merit Award, and member of Omnicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.

She is affiliated with: Seattle Dental Study Club, American Dental Association 1988-present, Texas Dental Association 1988-present, Greater Houston Dental Society 1988-present, University of Texas Dental Alumni Life Time Member, University of Texas Health Science Center Dean's Excellence, Friends and Family UTSD, Texas A&M Alumni Member, Texas A&M Chancellor’s Century Club Member, Texas A&M Rapport Society, Ambassador On Call for Texas Children's, HAMS-Houston Association of Medical Students-Leadership Board, Texas A&M 12th Man Foundation, 100 Club of Houston Life Time Member, PARTNER of UT Nursing School and donor to MD Anderson.

She is a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society at UTSD, the Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society of Texas A&M, and the Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society of Texas A&M. Her community involvement includes being a Sunday School teacher at Bellaire United Methodist Church for over 20 years, Family Ministries Chair 4 years, Girl Scout leader for 13 years, and Girl Scout Service Unit Board for 4 years and occasional lecturer at UTSD.

Dr. Christina Noblett-Thomas

Dr. Christina Noblett-Thomas grew up in Bellaire, TX and graduated from Bellaire High School ('10), Texas A&M University ('14), and University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston ('18) with honors. While at Texas A&M University, Dr. Christina was Community Service Coordinator and P​resident of the Texas A&M Pre-Dental society and part of the Golden Key International Honor Society. During her years in dental school she was heavily involved in the Texas Association of Women Dentists (TAWD) as their President, a member of the Psi Omega Dental Fraternity, and a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society when she graduated within the top 10% of her class.  

Dr. Christina is up-to-date with the newest guidelines, methods and technology. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Greater Houston District Dental Association, Texas A&M Alumni Association and Texas Association of Women Dentists. Following her belief in giving back to the community, Dr. Christina has and will continue to participate in international dental missions, Give Kids A Smile, and Texas Mission of Mercy. 

Dr. Christina loves spending time with her husband, Andrew. Her hobbies include photography, organizing, cooking and traveling.

Dr. Tammy Van Wart-Hemann

Dr. Tammy Van Wart-Hemann graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Chemistry in 1981. She went on to receive her graduate dental degree from the University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston in 1985. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the Greater Houston Dental Society. She continues to enhance her knowledge by attending continuing education courses. 

A Houston native, she is the proud parents of 3 children (Jason, Tyler & Jana) and 4 grandchildren. Dr. Tammy enjoys, traveling, and gardening.
